As a Nashville, TN, native with a passion for planning unforgettable getaways. Being from one of the U.S.’s top travel destinations, I love exploring my hometown, but nothing beats exploring a new city. My personal travel style is a curation of nature, culture, and fun and I’m excited to say I’ve now traveled to 4 continents, 29 states, and 23 national parks. I have a passion for exploring new places and learning as much about them as I can.
I truly love the pre-trip planning process almost as much as the trip itself, which I know can be confusing and exhausting. I started Jay’s Getaways to help others explore the world and create the perfect vacation.
When I’m not mapping out new adventures, I love taking my dogs for walks, reading, concerts, sporting events, and happy hours with my friends.

Meet Juneau! Chief Fetch Officer
Hi there! I’m Juneau! I am Jay’s 9 year old Australian Shepherd. We’ve been together since my mom rescued me when I was only a year old. I love hearing about all of her adventures! I like to adventure too, but I don’t even like car rides, let alone flights. Mom and I adventure near our home, though. My favorite is hiking in East Tennessee, we do that every few months.
When mom is working, I like to help her by putting my ball in her lap. Playing ball always makes me feel better, so why wouldn’t it help her! Also, I bark at all of the outside distractions, so mom can stay working hard. She loves creating itineraries and tells me all about them.
